Lord Dante's Triumph

Greetings once again InterWebs!!!! Well, here is the last piece for my Blood Angels army: Lord Dante himself! I had a fair amount of fun with this piece from start to finish. If you would like to see the initial construction process you can check it out here. Here are the finished pictures of Lord Dante and an unfortunate Nightlord traitor marine:

Closer look at Lord Dante done in metallic gold:

Here are some more various views of the piece with close-ups of the two models:

The Nightlord is hanging mostly off the base but is rather securely attached. In fact I tend to grab the piece by the Nightlord he is so firmly attached to the base!

Lord Dante looking to deliver the deathblow with the Axe Mortalis to the wounded Nightlord traitor:

The Deathmask of Sanguinius:

Overhead view showing Lord Dante's hair and the fact it is a mask not a helmet:

The melta-burn:

A final overhead view of Lord Dante's Triumph:

That was the last of my Blood Angels (for now); what a nice feeling having completed this army! After just over 18 months I managed to complete a rather large collection of Blood Angels! The next post will have to be a complete overview/breakdown of my Blood Angel army (complete with pictures of course)! Thanks for stopping by and taking a look! Comments are always welcome! Take care!

  1. I can't believe how much detail went into this figure! Special characters are definitely painted to the nines. The melta burn was a nice touch.
Thanks for sharing; looking forward to your next post/overview!

    1. Thanks! I did enjoy working on this miniature and while it is done there are still a couple of things I would like to make look better. Next post will be an entire army overview. Thanks for stopping by and taking a look!
